My work is situated between things both familiar and unsettled. My main inputs being contemporary visual culture, religious iconography, personal myth and life when creating. I am constantly re-examining themes of transformation, confinement, faith, and self-authorship stemming from my own personal triumphs and struggles.

Using color, texture, and surreal composition I build environments viewers can reflect their situations in. In my visuals texture is introduced to counter the immaterial nature of the digital image, introducing friction that slows perception, and evokes a feeling of physical tension.

The digital image can be a little too clean, and a little too distant.You should feel like you could touch something on the other side of the screen.

As I move across visual art, fashion, and conceptual design through different disciplines, I am interested in how ideas arrive to me and further how they are refined into whatever medium one finally manifests in.
